We are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news — Adapt NI has been officially shortlisted for Best Diversity, Equality and Inclusion – SME Business at the upcoming Irish News Awards (Workplace & Employment Awards) 2025.

The Irish News Awards 2025
This nomination is a powerful recognition of the work we’ve been doing to champion inclusive practices and create a workplace that truly values and uplifts every individual. As a not for profit community interest company dedicated to improving accessibility and promoting disability awareness, diversity and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords for us — they’re at the heart of everything we do.
The awards ceremony, now in its 17th year, will take place on Thursday 29th May, 2025 at the iconic Titanic Belfast, starting at 7pm. This year, the event will once again bring together hundreds of professionals and organisations across Northern Ireland to celebrate excellence in the workplace. With over 500 guests expected to attend, the evening promises to be a vibrant celebration of innovation, people-focused leadership, and the pursuit of more equitable workplaces.
The Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards are widely regarded as one of the most prestigious business accolades in Northern Ireland. As the only awards in the region focused solely on employment and workplace culture, being shortlisted is an incredible honour — especially in a category that speaks so directly to our mission and values.
At Adapt NI, our commitment to equality is evident not just in the services we provide to other organisations, but also in the way we operate internally. We’ve worked hard to build a culture where everyone feels welcome, respected, and empowered to bring their whole selves to work. This nomination is a testament to our team’s dedication and passion for creating real, lasting change — both within Adapt NI and in the wider community.
As we look ahead to the ceremony, we’re filled with gratitude. Gratitude for our staff, partners, funders and supporters — all of whom play a vital role in helping us make workplaces more inclusive across Northern Ireland.
Whether we take home the award or not, being recognised alongside such impactful organisations is already a big win. It reaffirms that the work we’re doing matters and inspires us to keep pushing forward.
We can’t wait to attend the Irish News Awards this May and represent Adapt NI at the Titanic Belfast and of course to celebrate all the incredible organisations that are shaping a more inclusive, equitable working world.
Stay tuned for updates (you can follow us on Instagram, Facebook & X (formerly known as Twitter) — and of course wish us luck!
